The Maui Red Cross provides disaster response to those affected by disasters in Maui County and shares critical preparedness information to the community so that people can prepare before a disaster strikes. All disaster response and disaster training are provided at no charge. Training classes such as first aid and CPR are available for a fee. Recruits and certifies adoptive parent(s) for children needing an adoptive family. Recruits adoptive families for children who are a ward of the state. Provides adoption services for foster children.

(EEM, Rapid Response Landlord-Tenant Mediation) The Mediation Center of the Pacific helps landlords and tenants negotiate realistic payment plans and maintain a positive working relationship through video conference. Landlords and tenants work with an impartial mediator who will help them discuss a variety of options such as payment plans, temporary rent reductions, deferred payments, and other creative solutions that will enable the landlord to continue receiving some level of payment and enable the tenants to craft a realistic future for remaining in their rental. If landlord and tenant have flexible schedules, mediation sessions can be scheduled in 5 business days. All mediation sessions are held on Zoom.

(Hawaii Relief Program) Maui Economic Opportunity has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Fares are capped and your money goes toward a pass. Once you spend the amount of a pass, you ride the rest of the day or month for free. Adult fares are $7.50. Transfers are free within 2.5 hours of riding the vehicle.
