Parents And Children Together (PACT) offers safe, compassionate, and confidential support in three counties for youth and families coping with serious behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. Our evidence-based therapeutic models focus on family networks and relationships, school or job performance, peer connections and relationships, and community networks of support. All services are provided free of charge with referrals. Evenings and weekends by appointment.

Hospice is a holistic philosophy of patient centered care. The hospice program of care focuses on the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. Hospice recognizes that a patient who is dealing with the end of life seeks and deserves comfort in every aspect of his/her life. Hospice care is provided through an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) consisting of a physician, nurses, nure-aides, social workers, spiritual counselors, nutritional and other therapists and specially trained patient-care volunteers who offer support through the challenges of living with a terminal illness to the patient and family seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

(Ohana Energy Gift Program) The Hawaiian Electric Company Ohana Energy Gift Program allows customers of Hawaiian Electric to make payments toward a designated recipient's electric account. The recipient will receive an acknowledgement letter once the gift amount has been applied to his or her account. Gift givers will receive a confirmation letter once the designated recipient's account information has been verified and the gift amount has been applied. Ohana Energy Gifts are not tax deductible donations. The gifts may be anonymous, or the gift giver may choose to also send a special acknowledgement card with a personalized message. (Mana'olana Emergency Homeless Shelter) Provides emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families. Offers case management to help link residents to resources in the community to help stabilize them and begin to rebuild their lives. Provides temporary assistance and information for residents of the Island of Hawaii who have tested positive for COVID-19 and cannot safely self-quarantine or self-isolate at home. (Childrens Advocacy Center of West Hawaii) Provides a safe, neutral place for child abuse investigations by trained interviewers who are specialists in child abuse and neglect. In order to minimize the number of interviews, proceedings can be videotaped and/or audiotaped. Provides training for professionals in interviewing children in order to provide a neutral, professional investigation. Coordinates civil and criminal court actions. Coordinates the activities of all agencies involved with the child.

The Hawaii Workers Center (HWC) opened the Kokua Fund applications for one-time financial assistance of $100 - $500 for workers impacted by the storms. Call or email for an initial screening. Applications will be sent out after the screening.

Wilson Homecare is a state-licensed home health agency providing personal care to skilled nursing from 3 hours per shift, once a week, to daily 24 hours care at the clients home. Care assessment will be made by Nurse Care Coordinator to build the appropriate care plans which can be assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs - bathing, dressing, toileting), running errands, visits to the doctor, medication management, meal prep, or light housekeeping. We also offer skilled nursing in home which can included medication management, wound care, vent care, up to life support.

The Early Identification Program (EID) supports families in learning about child development, family well-being, and community resources. EID is a resource and referral service that can link families to helpful community resources.

(WUCC Food Pantry, WUCC) Central Union Church Windward Food Distribution Program provides non-perishable food and prepackaged bags of food (protein, fruit, starch, vegetables). The church is committed to providing this outreach to the community and everyone who has a need for food is welcome. Please bring your own bag for food pick up. Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. AmeriCorps NCCC includes two routes: traditional and FEMA. Traditional Corps teams partner with local and national organizations to complete hands-on projects in a designated region of the country. Serve for 10 months as a Corps Member and gain a variety of professional experiences. Educate communities on sustainability and energy conservation, restore and build hiking trails, or build homes. Or serve for 11 months as a Team Leader and guide members through this transformative service experience. FEMA Corps Teams serve nationally under Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) direction to complete administrative projects related to disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. Serve for 12 months and rack up professional skills that are highly transferable. Coordinate with nonprofits and government agencies, plan response and relief efforts during a disaster, or conduct damage assessments after a disaster. Team Leaders also serve for 12 months in FEMA Corps.

(PSI Helpline) Provides a helpline for support and local referrals for postpartum mental health, along with online information and support groups to help families, providers, and communities learn about the emotional and mental health of childbearing families. Website helps locate specialized support coordinators. The helpline connects callers to crisis hotlines, support groups, and events in that area. Helpline runs 24/7, but is staffed only during business hours. Callers may leave confidential messages anytime and staff will return them as soon as possible.
