(808 No Vape) 808NOVAPE is a vaping prevention campaign currently providing presentations for elementary, middle and high school students. Typically, the presentations are done for health classes, but we have done several all school assemblies or covered entire grades. We also provide presentations for parents and teachers as well as college students and other community groups seeking to raise awareness around this issue. We can also do presentations for a parents night or a school staff training. The presentation is conducted via Powerpoint and is scalable from a 30 minute presentation up to a full hour including Question and Answer (Q & A), and usually requires a projector and screen, or large TV. Presentations can also be planned virtually via Zoom, Webex or Google Classroom. Neighborhood Advice and Counsel clinics are being held in-person and via telephone. Clients are responsible for all legal deadlines associated with their case. We experience a high volume of calls. Recruits businesses, firehouses, agencies, etc. in the community as Safe Places, identified by easily recognized yellow and black diamond shaped signs. Any youth can go to a Safe Place for help. A trained worker at the Safe Place will talk to the youth to determine the immediate problem and act in the youth's behalf.
