Eligibility

Are determined to be at increased risk for glaucoma by a weighted combination of family history of glaucoma, race, and age; have not had an eye exam in 12 months or more; be a U.S. citizen or legal resident; and not belong to an HMO or receive eye care benefits through the VA.

Designed to reduce the incidence of undetected glaucoma, educate primary care physicians and the public about risk factors for glaucoma, offers a glaucoma examination at no cost to uninsured individuals determined to be at increased risk for glaucoma.
