Lunalilo Home is currently is licensed for 42 residents by the State of Hawaii Department of Health for Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH), Type II, and up to 20% of the beds for Expanded ARCH or EARCH, Type II. Residents of Lunalilo Home receive 24-hour supervised care and supportive services in an ohana (family) setting. Lunalilo Home is a private organization that is not funded by any state or federal programs. We do not directly bill Medicare or Medicaid for any of the services we provide; however, our residents may utilize Medicare and Medicaid as well as other health insurance for their medical needs. In recent years, Lunalilo Home has added elderly services including Adult Day Care, Respite Care, Meals-to-Go and Caregiver Support programs. In the coming years, Lunalilo Home plans to further enhance its services and facilities to increase its impact in the community and preserve the legacy of our kupuna and the Hawaiian people. A late fee of $250 will be assessed per 30 days outstanding.

HUGS's provides peer support opportunities for enrolled HUGS families through monthly gatherings, including family events, Mom’s Nights, Dad’s Nights, and other activities that foster connection and reduce isolation. Referral, application, and intake assessment are required.

(Medical Examiner/Coroners Department) Conducts investigations, inquests, post-mortem examinations and laboratory tests to determine the cause and mode of death for natural deaths unattended by a physician, and on all unnatural deaths (homicides, suicides, accidents or deaths of a suspicious nature). This CDC-recognized program is a year-long structured lifestyle change program that includes dietary coaching and moderate physical activity, all with the goal of preventing or delaying the onset of type 2 diabetes among those who are at high risk for diabetes. The program consists of 16 core sessions over the course of the first six months, followed by less-intensive classes held monthly for the rest of the year-long program. The goal of the program is to cut one's risk of developing diabetes in half by losing 5-7% of their body weight through healthier eating and engaging in 150 minutes of physical activity each week. This program also includes shopping tours, cooking classes, exercise, on-site gardening, and stress management sessions.

(The Actors Group) The Actors' Group (TAG) is a small but active Community Theatre. Our seating capacity is 55 to 60 seats. We are located in the Dole Cannery Square Mall. We produce 6 to 7 plays each season (September through August) These are all straight plays, we do not do musicals because our theater is so small. Everyone at TAG is a volunteer. And we are always looking for volunteers to help in every aspect of the theater.
