Enrolled HUGS families with a physician-verified qualifying diagnosis may be eligible.

Referrals may be made by a hospital social worker, child life specialist, or through self-referral. Eligibility is determined through a required physician verification form, completion of the HUGS enrollment application, and an intake assessment.

HUGS's provides peer support opportunities for enrolled HUGS families through monthly gatherings, including family events, Mom’s Nights, Dad’s Nights, and other activities that foster connection and reduce isolation. Referral, application, and intake assessment are required.
