(PAS) Patient Assistance Services assists patients with completing applications for medical insurance and medication assistance with the State Med-QUEST program, Medicaid, Medicare, Sliding Scale Fee, Federal Health Insurance Marketplace, etc, assists patients in coordinating interpreting services, and provides homeless outreach and home visits to complete applications.

Vet 2 Vet provides a 6 week, peer-facilitator training program. Hawaii Vet 2 Vet Inc assists service members veterans and their families to get the services that they are entitled to from the Veterans Health and Benefits Administration (aka VHA and VBA).

Maintains a sanitary and healthful environment through prevention, inspection, education, and enforcement activities. Inspects food and food service establishments, milk plants, frozen dessert manufacturing plants, dairy farms, hotels and other multi-dwelling units, adult family care homes, intermediate care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, public swimming pools, barber and beauty shops, mortuaries, embalmers, tattoo parlors and artists, massage parlors and other general public health nuisances.

Three meals per day are prepared at our Sumner Men’s Shelter and served across our 10-shelter network. Help prepare and serve meals at the men’s shelter. Hale Naau Pono SNAP outreach program assists you in-person or over the phone in completing and submitting an application or a renewal form to a Department of Human Services Processing Center. In addition, the Outreach workers help recipeints to maintain their benefits and provide follow up (in most situations) on case status if needed.
