A Critical Access Hospital with 24 hours, 7 days a week Emergency Department and 5 bed Acute unit as well as distinct part 66 bed Long Term Care and 9 bed Adult Acute Psychiatric unit. Provides outpatient rehabilitation services including treatment for back pain, sports and on-the-job injuries, stroke, and neuropathies. Other outpatient services include radiology and Specialty Clinics. Offers four spacious treatment booths and a hydrotherapy room. Specializes in MyoFacial Release techniques and designing Work-Hardening programs. Occupational therapy provides consultation for ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training and adaptive aids.

Conducts professional development training and provides ongoing technical assistance to increase capacity and sustainability of youth-serving organizations. Creates, coordinates and sustains multi-agency partnerships and collaborations. Facilitates the Hawaii Interagency State Youth Network of Care (HISYNC). Offers a place for frail and not-so-frail seniors to gather and socialize with others. Program targets isolated seniors who are alone during the day and are in need of mental and physical stimulation to maintain their current level of functioning, thus delaying the need for more supportive care. This is a day activities program for the elderly. The focus is on healthy aging through intervention in the mental and social decline of seniors. Activities are age- and level-of-functioning appropriate and include chair exercise, arts and crafts, socialization, singing and games that challenge them.

Provides social casework, pre-sentence investigation, and supervision of adults convicted of misdemeanor offenses and traffic violations. Assists Court in using sentencing power to rehabilitate individuals. All clients are Court ordered for misdemeanor offenses for pre-sentence reports or on supervision for maximum of one year for each case referred. Referral for mental health, drug and alcohol assessment and follow up treatment. Restitution study for victims of crimes and collection of monies may be ordered by the Judge. (Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs) HOPE emergency shelter programs provide shelter for families and individuals that are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include intake/assessment, case management, referrals/linkages to community resources, access to bed space, storage, meals, laundry, food pantry and clothing bank. On-site life skills classes also provided. Referrals by County's Coordinated Entry System (CES) only.
