Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is incorporating a new evacuation notification platform, powered by Genasys, Inc, to enhance emergency operations for residents and visitors. The platform, known as Genasys Protect, will allow users to view evacuation zones, track live statuses, and receive real-time notifications through a mobile app. The Genasys system includes a zone map where users can see pre-determined evacuation zones, as well as live status updates during emergencies. The mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices, will enable the public to follow their important zones and receive notifications specific to their zone.

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Silvercrest Senior Housing is an affordable senior housing program for seniors 62 years old or older. The housing facility is located in Central Oahu and provides a supportive living environment that is sensitive to the needs of individual residents. Donors may continue dropping their items off-- The Community Clearinghouse accepts donations of gently used, working furniture, household items, and clothing from the public. All donated items are distributed free of charge to individuals, families, and disaster survivors in need. Items are provided as‑is, so all donations must be in usable, working condition. Feeding Pets of the Homeless assists with emergency veterinary care for pets whose owners are experiencing homelessness. All new requests for assistance are now submitted through our online application: https://petsofthehomeless.org/emergency-veterinary-care/ Applications are reviewed Monday–Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (PST), excluding holidays. If you have limited access to the internet, many public libraries, shelters, and resource centers offer free computer or mobile access. A trusted advocate or case worker may also assist you in completing the application. If approved, we will provide instructions for scheduling care with a participating veterinary clinic. You contribute what you are able to at the appointment, and we help cover the remaining eligible costs. Important: Services may be declined based on eligibility criteria, missed appointments, service limitations, specific procedures, or funding availability. Feeding Pets of the Homeless reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion. (Domestic Violence Services for Families) When child abuse occurs in the home, violent behavior towards spouses and others is also often present. After a family is required to enter the child welfare system and is discovered to be experiencing other forms of domestic violence a care plan is developed for each family member. Services are then provided for both survivors (victims) and batterers (perpetrators) of violent behavior. Survivors create a safety plan and are offered various supportive services. Batterers are assessed and provided opportunities to learn alternative attitudes and behaviors. This program works with families involved in the child welfare system who are also experiencing domestic violence. Staff work with each family to assess for domestic violence and/or risk factors related to domestic violence. A care plan is developed for each family member. The services that are available for each family include: Domestic Violence Survivor Support and Pattern Changing Groups for Victims, Individual Counseling and Support for each family member, Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focusing on children, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Children’s Support Groups, and/or Adolescent Support Groups.

Kaiser Permanente (KP) will be providing medical services to KP members and non-members at several locations in Lahaina. -The Mobile Health Vehicle will be located at Napili Park. Services include first aid, adult and pediatric care, and ob-gyn services (offered every Friday) Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. -Kaiser Permanente First Aid Station located at the Hyatt Regency Lahaina, Maui Suites, Promenade Lower Level is providing first aid services and wound care Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Pharmacy courier services will be available at all three sites.
