Kumu Ola Hou is a recovery-oriented transitional shelter for people who have experienced trauma associated with homelessness.

Transitional Family Care for youth 5 - 17 years of age with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances, Hale Kipa's Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides community-based services within a family home setting. The 3-9 month program is often a "step-down" from hospitalization or a residential setting and can be helpful in transitioning youth from a higher level of care to successful integration into the community.

Each office is stocked with up-to-date free brochures, books and videos you or your caregiver can borrow. For your convenience, many items can be mailed to you. Patient Services Navigators: Through our Division's Patient Services Center, specialists connect patients with information, resources and support, and help eliminate barriers to needed care. Financial Assistance: A limited amount of indirect assistance is available to any cancer patient in Hawaii for patient services not covered by insurance such as transportation for medical appointments and treatment, breast prostheses, wigs and hats. Referrals to local resources as well as mainland resources too.

(LEI) LEI is a HTA-sponsored workforce development project created by ClimbHI to inspire Hawai’i’s youth to select careers in the Hawai’i visitor industry by providing them with the necessary means to achieve success. From the student’s perspective, LEI represents an opportunity for Leadership, Exploration, and Inspiration, and from the hospitality industry’s perspective, LEI provides an opportunity to Lead, Expose, and Inspire Hawai’i’s youth. The program began in 2011 with 300 Hawai’i high school students spending a day learning about the hospitality industry and the value of graduating from high school and going on to pursue a post-secondary education. During the course of the day’s program, the students meet, learn, and experience job opportunities that the hospitality industry can provide. Students also receive advice on filling out job/college applications, resumes, personal finance, and support resources. (ADRC) The Aging and Disability Resource Center is the source for individuals who are aging and have disabilities to get impartial information about support and services that help them remain living at home as long as possible with dignity and quality of life. The ADRC staff members provide Options Counseling. It's a process that assists you to make informed decisions to select the long term services and support you need to age well and maintain independence. The ADRC is for people of all incomes and ages, to help you make plans that carry out your individual needs and preferences. It is also a point of access for all publically funded long term support programs and benefits. ADRC is operated by the State of Hawaii in cooperation with the four county governments.
