Early Childhood Services are provided to children three to six years old with delays in which age appropriate milestones are not yet met. These children typically fall outside the scope of the Department of Education & Special Education Services. The needs of each child are met through professional therapeutic services designed for the child to help them thrive in their home, preschool and community. Our goal is to better prepare the child for kindergarten and beyond by using family engagement techniques and strategies.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. The Department of Human Services (DHS) has received reports of fraudulent transactions statewide, but the reports are largely concentrated on the island of Oahu in the urban Honolulu area. Fraudulent transactions have been reported to occur with online and out-of-state transactions. You may block these types of purchase when you are not traveling out of state or not shopping online. -Beware of Phishing schemes. State agencies and EBT processors will never call or text you to ask for your PIN or card number. Be cautious when you receive these requests and do not share your personal information. (C.O.R.E., CORE, Crisis Outreach Response and Engagement) City and County of Honolulu Honolulu Emergency Services Department's Crisis Outreach Response and Engagement (CORE) responds to non-emergency, non-violent, non-emergent medical assistance crises reported by community.

Supports and coordinates activities to promote, perpetuate and preserve culture, arts, history and humanities throughout the state. Administers the Art in Public Places Program to purchase art works for public buildings and grounds. Administers the state and federal funding that supports culture, arts, historic programs and organizations. Provides technical assistance and initiates statewide programs, conferences, workshops, publications, awards and other services in culture, arts, history and heritage. Manages and operates the Hawaii State Art Museum.

Program helps achieve specific goals that includes but is not limited to obtaining and maintaining Transitional Housing, Supportive Permanent Housing and long-term Permanent Housing and will continue to provide Housing Services with Evidence-Based and Low-Barrier Service Models, as well as Coordinated Data Entry System utilizing (VI-SPDAT) and the Housing First Model Approached. Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Maintains bi-weekly meetings to process and follow-up activities, conducts team meetings with providers including probation officers, mental health, substance abuse and medical.
