Maui County Department of Planning

Facilitates the development of a desirable living environment through dialogue with the community and the application of professional planning principles. Serves as the technical advisor to the mayor, council and planning commissions on all planning and related matters. Recommends revisions to the general plan at least every ten years to guide the development of the county.
