Your household might qualify for a $250 food card to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, protein, poi, and honey at Makeke Waianae a farmers and green market The Head of household will enroll into program to receive funds for the entire household. A Household is defined as all individuals that live together in one residence and purchase or prepare meals together. Multiple families under one address will go through additional verification. Volunteer Connections

(Our Kupuna, Hawaii VA Foundation) The program connects each low-income homebound kupuna with a sponsor (a community volunteer who shops for and delivers groceries, medication and necessary supplies to the kupuna's home every 2 weeks). The kupuna pays for the groceries that the volunteer delivers. The volunteer does not enter the kupuna's home. Inquire about other islands in the service area.

Save The Foodbasket

Gregory House Programs's Save the FoodBasket program delivers food to those who are house bound or in rural areas and distributes groceries at a rented space in a centrally located church. Information on the distribution location available upon the completion of a referral. All recipients get an equal amount of frozen meats, produce, dairy, and non-perishable goods. Hot lunches are available twice a week. Other services include limited toiletries and cleaning supplies, nutrition classes, and nutrition counseling.

Maui Strong

The Maui Strong program delivers bagged groceries and essential supplies to kupuna who were displaced or otherwise impacted by the Maui wildfires. Deliveries are made directly to their homes by volunteer drivers. For safety and privacy, drivers do not enter the kupuna’s homes. In addition to home deliveries, the program provides care navigation services to help connect kupuna with resources and support. We also offer transportation services for those who need transportation to medical appointments or essential errands.

Na Hoaloha provides Shop/Drop and grocery pickup from all Maui County supermarkets and offers free delivery to your door. This program helps keep kupuna Safe-At-Home and free from isolation while volunteers continue practicing food safety procedures.
