EPIC Ohana, Inc. transforms the culture of child welfare practice through a respectful, collaborative, solution-oriented process that protects children, strengthens families, and enhances the health of the community. Organizes and facilitates Ohana Conferences, Youth Circles, Ohana Finding and Ohana Connections.

Manages public hunting areas, public hiking areas, forest reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, natural areas reserves. Accepts reports of forest pests, including new and unusual weeds and certain birds. Pest reports accepted include: wild pigs, snakes, large lizards, ferrets, the banana poka (a weed), the bulbul (a bird) on neighbor islands, and the mongoose on Kauai.

Operates after-school program, holiday, summer, intersession, waiver days, located at Moiliili Community Center and Jefferson A+, Kaahumana A+ and Lunalilio A+ programs. Transports children from Hokulani, Lunalilo, Kahala, Wilson and UH Lab school. Volunteer opportunities in the children and senior program. Also in teaching classes, community programs, youth development and administration.

Girl Scouts' leadership development program builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Through leadership programs in STEM, Outdoor Experience and Financial literacy and Entrepreneurship girls learn to discover, connect and take action to fulfill their potential as leaders and to improve their communities.

Bridge House Clean and Sober Living provides a residential living opportunity for people in recovery from drug/alcohol abuse. We are a culturally-based program, utilizing Hawaiian health and healing principles. We also have a vocational skills building component, which prepares individuals for entry/re-entry into the work force. We also operate an outpatient substance abuse treatment program at an off-site location that provides assessment and formal treatment.

Provides disaster assistance to commercial agricultural producers following natural disasters. Low-interest credit to commercial producers and cost share for installing approved conservation practices.

Provides materials and assistance regarding how to establish effective pro-pet policies in condos, co-ops, and rental buildings. Publishes a listing of rentals on Oahu that allow pets. Our Wahiawa site opened in 1989. Our facility is located on the grounds of Olive Methodist Church, although we are not associated with any religious denomination. We offer a developmentally appropriate program, serving 49 children ranging in age from 2-5 years. Our toddler class accepts children in various stages of toilet training. Licensed by the State of Hawaii Department of Human Service and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. Please contact the Center Director directly to set up a visit.

We provide in-home care services which include companionship, light housekeeping, cooking, supervision, Activities of Daily Living; including bathing, toileting, transfer assistance, dressing, feeding, and grooming, and various other duties as determined by the assessment. Kokua Care Foundation Charitable Care Services (KCFCCS) provides these care services at no charge to qualified individuals, and at-cost services for individuals who are unable to qualify for the program, but have shown the need for service. These services are provided by Kokua Care.

Mental Health Kokua assists people with mental illness achieve optimum recovery and functioning in the community.

City and County of Honolulu's Department of Community Services is now accepting pre-eligibility inquiries for home loans up to $40,000. Families earning up to 80% of Honolulu’s area median income can qualify. Loans will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified Oʻahu residents. Step 1 – If you appear eligible, the lender will be asked to list the City's Down Payment loan of $40,000 (or less) as "subordinate financing" on your Uniform Residental Loan Application (commonly referred to as a Fannie Mae Form 1003 or Freddie Mac Form 65). Step 2 – After initial loan approval from your first mortgage lender, the lender will be asked to submit electronic copies of your loan application and supporting documents to the City. The City will use copies of the lender's finalized loan forms and supporting documentation to approve the Down Payment loan.

Relay For Life: You are invited to attend Relay For Life, our annual event to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and give everyone the opportunity to fight back against cancer.
