Through public-private partnerships, Malama Maui Nui stretches government dollars further by gaining the in-kind support of local businesses and volunteers to malama aina in Maui Nui. Projects include marine debris cleanups, coral reef outreach & education, invasive plant control, native outplanting, illegal dumpsite clearing, litter pickups, graffiti cleanup, recycling, community paint exchange, and environmental education. Ongoing volunteer opportunities are available in Kihei at our Laie Wetland Restoration Project, in Kahului at Kanaha Beach Park, and at various community.

Serves as the Area Agency on Aging and focal point for aging programs for the City and County of Honolulu designated under the Older Americans Act of 1965: 1) Plans, coordinates, advocates for and develops community based programs and services to meet the growing needs of older adults and their family caregivers 2) Contracts with agencies to provide supportive and long term care services that help elders remain at home 3) administers Senior Information and Assistance Program. Elderly Affairs Division is primarily an admnistrative agency which plans, develops, coordinates, and funds aging and caregiver programs. (Family Visitation Center - Oahu) Family Visitation Centers provide a safe, neutral setting for children to visit with their non-custodial parents or transition from one parent to the other. After a divorce or separation, family visitation services may be arranged by agreement of both parents and by court order.

Private school includes grades K-8 for boys and girls.

Families who are accepted into our program can live at the National Home in a single family home for up to four years while working with a professional case worker to set goals and make plans for the future. Families also have access to educational, recreational and enrichment opportunities. Community resources and counseling referrals are provided as needed. Free state-certified daycare services are provided free of charge for children five and under.

(American Red Cross of Hawaii) Provides immediate emergency assistance to victims of disasters, including food, shelter, clothing, crisis counseling and other services. Offers classes in CPR, first-aid, aquatics training. For military personnel, provides emergency communication services, counseling and referral services. Provides international tracing service. (Hospice Hawaii) Navian Hawaii is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of professionals and trained volunteers who meet the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families in the comfort of their own homes as well as in other settings like its Kailua Home, nursing homes and other facilities. The non-profit organization offers Integrated Care for those with serious but treatable illnesses, and Hospice Care for those near their journey’s end, providing assistance with pain management and symptom control. Navian Hawaii provides caregiver support, grief counseling, and complementary therapies including art, aroma, massage, healing touch, and reiki. Navian Hawaii has offices on Oahu, Molokai and Lanai and accepts referrals 24 hours, 7 days a week.

UCPA's Early Intervention Services is sponsored by the State of Hawaii's Department of Health - Early Intervention Section. The program provides services to children between the ages of birth to three years of age with developmental delays. Services are provided in each child's natural environment (e.g., home) with the goal of educating, enhancing and coaching parents and caregivers to support development within the context of the child's daily routines and activities.
