Lunalilo Home is currently is licensed for 42 residents by the State of Hawaii Department of Health for Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH), Type II, and up to 20% of the beds for Expanded ARCH or EARCH, Type II. Residents of Lunalilo Home receive 24-hour supervised care and supportive services in an ohana (family) setting. Lunalilo Home is a private organization that is not funded by any state or federal programs. We do not directly bill Medicare or Medicaid for any of the services we provide; however, our residents may utilize Medicare and Medicaid as well as other health insurance for their medical needs. In recent years, Lunalilo Home has added elderly services including Adult Day Care, Respite Care, Meals-to-Go and Caregiver Support programs. In the coming years, Lunalilo Home plans to further enhance its services and facilities to increase its impact in the community and preserve the legacy of our kupuna and the Hawaiian people. A late fee of $250 will be assessed per 30 days outstanding.

Early Childhood Services are provided to children three to six years old with delays in which age appropriate milestones are not yet met. These children typically fall outside the scope of the Department of Education & Special Education Services. The needs of each child are met through professional therapeutic services designed for the child to help them thrive in their home, preschool and community. Our goal is to better prepare the child for kindergarten and beyond by using family engagement techniques and strategies.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. Collects and distributes child support funds in all new divorce and paternity cases, newly modified orders, as well as those cases handled in the past. Legally establishes the identity of the father of children born out of wedlock. Obtains court and administrative orders for child support which are enforceable against parents who have a duty to provide support. Locates parents who are not complying with existing child support orders and enforces payment through wage assignment, income tax refund intercept and other legal means. Ensures medical coverage for children.

Maintains information resources, i.e. books, magazines, musical recordings, video and audio tapes, State and County government documents and Hawaiiana materials. Provides fax service to send messages to State legislators. Provides access to wi-fi and telephone reference service.
