Provides adult education opportunities for people working towards high school diplomas (GED). Offers classes in citizenship, languages, and special interests such as arts, crafts, sports and cooking.

Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Scholarships are given as a reimbursement for the tuition of college-level courses in early childhood education, for Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) classes taken if converted to college credits, or for direct assessment fees in obtaining a Child Development Association (CDA) certificate. Scholarships are available for anyone who successfully completes the above (Fiscal year basis & based on availability of funds). Offers three specialized treatments for veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Here and Now group for current life issues concentrating on providing veterans with effective coping skills and management of PTSD symptomology. Also serves as preparation for possible future more intense treatment than that offered through outpatient services. PTSD and Addictions addresses the needs of veterans suffering from PTSD and Substance Abuse. Providing veterans with the abilities to identify risk factors, prevent relapse and practice effective coping skills. Residents are required to attend AA and/or NA meetings several times a week. War Trauma Focus is designed to provide appropriate circumstances for veterans to re-experience emotional impacts of trauma, understanding recovery, accepting responsibility and coping skills are the primary emphasis.

Offers and provides a comprehensive program of educational, health, and social services to income or categorically-eligible children and families in order to promote school readiness. -Early Head Start - provides prenatal support services to expectant mothers and their families, as well as educational services for children zero to three years of age through islandwide home-based home visiting. -Head Start - provides preschool educational services to children three to five years-old through center and home-based options islandwide. Parents are the key to success in Head Start and Early Head Start. As members of the Parent Committees and Head Start Policy Council, parents help decide how the program is operated. Parents are invited to volunteer in all phases of the Head Start program at any time.

(Hawaii Copd Coalition) Hawaii Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (HiCOPD) Coalition was formed in 2007 to provide services and improve treatment of Hawaii adults diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and its related disorders. Program serves patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and others offering free lung health information, free paper and pen screening tests, tobacco cessation information, monthly support group meetings, presentations on COPD, advocacy, training for volunteers/healthcare workers about COPD and Smoking Cessation counseling, information sharing of licensure for Hawaii’s respiratory therapists which has successfully led to licensing.
