(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, and service to the community.

Assists with immigration needs (passports, travel documents, visas, etc.) for local Tongan Community. Provides tourism and investment information for Kingdom of Tonga. Assists in providing Tongan interpreters.

(Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii - Lihue, Waimea and Kapaa) Provides medical care; dental care; substance abuse counseling; tobacco cessation; fitness and wellness programs; cancer screening; nutrition counseling; individual, family and couples counseling; case management services; and outreach services.

Provides electrical connection, disconnection and repair services.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Helps people who have a desire to stop drinking by sharing experiences with alcoholism and recovery. Meetings are currently in-person and on Zoom.

(RAINN) The National Sexual Assault Hotline was the nation’s first decentralized hotline, connecting those in need with help in their local communities. It’s made up of a network of independent sexual assault service providers, vetted by RAINN, who answer calls to a single, nationwide hotline number. Also known as 1-800-656-HOPE

Provides all emergency care for critical medical and/or surgical patients. No in-patient psychiatric, pediatric, or obstetrical services available.

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

Holomua is a youth program that focuses on cultural learning. We work with Keikis from elementary to high school providing an alternative learning environment focusing on aloha aina work and community engagement.

(Queens Medical Center - Emergency) Provides medical/surgical emergency services.

The Hawaii Fire Department is primarily responsible for fire protection and suppression, pre-hospital emergency medical services, land and sea search and rescue, hazardous materials response, ocean safety, and fire prevention and public education for the County of Hawaii. The Fire Prevention bureau provides building plans review, public education. Issues permits for: use of tents and temporary structures, to burn fireworks or Christmas trees, the application of flammable finishes, all fuel tank installations, storage, use and handling of flammable, combustible, toxic, corrosive and other hazardous gases, solids and liquid material; installation and maintenance of automatic and manual fire alarm systems and fire extinguishing equipment; building maintenance inspections, and regulation of fire escapes. The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a peer group support organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. Its mission is to assist families toward a positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age from any cause. Designed to reduce the incidence of undetected glaucoma, educate primary care physicians and the public about risk factors for glaucoma, offers a glaucoma examination at no cost to uninsured individuals determined to be at increased risk for glaucoma.

(Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances. Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times. Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs. If you are an individual in need of diapers, our partner agency Keiki O Ka Aina can help to sign you up to receive diapers and provide you guidance with parenting services and classes. Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. Our network of 1,500+ pilots, as well as commercial airline partners, throughout the 13 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations. Ambulatory patients needing medical transportation to the 13 Western States; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming may be eligible. This includes inter-island transportation as well.

Offers a 24-hour Helpline, 1-800-272-3900, and the MedicAlert+Safe Return™ program to help reunite wanderers with their caregivers. Creates public awareness about Alzheimer's disease, conducts advocacy efforts at the local and national level, and supports research efforts to find a cure or prevention for Alzheimer's disease.

Youth for Christ Hawaii is a dynamic, local youth organization that is committed to helping teens reach their ultimate potential physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
