The website contains state and national resources, free materials, and quitting advice from NCI. Surfrider Spirit Sessions is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that mentors at risk and adjudicated youths. Our 8 week mentoring program surrounds adjudicated and at risk youths with positive adult and peer role models and uses a unique combination of Hawaiian culture, environmental awareness, surfing, eco-therapy, socialization, mentoring and educational activities to help teens develop new skills, enhance self-esteem, embrace new modes of thinking and break their cycle of errant behavior. We have seen many of our youths go on to college, pursue a career in the trade industry and maintain a clean life. Mentoring program is on the beach of Waikiki.

(Hale Ho'omalu, Neighborhood Places of Kauai) In partnership with a community Ohana Board and other community agencies, provides family support and family preservation services to the families in defined areas of Kauai. Incorporating a community family center model, Hale Ho'omalu Neighborhood Place provides a healing and nurturing environment in which intervention services are interwoven with prevention activities. Services include information and referral, emergency food pantry, emergency clothes closet, parent skills classes, outreach activities to engage hard to reach families, individual and family counseling, and community activities, volunteer training, SNAP (Food Stamp) application assistance, and cultural awareness activities and more. Hale Ho'omalu is a family support center provided by Child and Family Service, serving Central to East Kauai.

Call center agents use the same digital scheduler, so it is not faster to necessarily call in, it’s truly a solution for those who cannot access our digital tools.

(ELR) Early Learning Readiness (ELR) for Family, Friend and Neighbor Caregivers is a research-based community program that gives young children (not in facility-based childcare), high-quality physical, emotional and cognitive experiences. It also equips their teacher, ensuring they start kindergarten ready to learn. The program provides a stimulating, preschool-like experience through learning centers that foster young child development and improve school readiness, while also supporting and developing the skills and knowledge of caregivers.
