(SHEG) A one time, not ongoing financial assistance for households who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Single, couples and families. Provides assistance with rent deposit, first month rent, past due rent, utilities when included with rent or if utility assistance prevents homelessness. Utility assistance for renters only. Utilities assistance to prevent the household from losing their housing or prevent homelessness.

(SSO) Department of Education Seamless Summer Option (SSO) Program provides meals free of charge at participating public schools for children 1 year old - 18 years old June 9, 2026 - July 17, 2026. Children do not need to be enrolled in public school to participate. Schools will serve breakfast 7:15 am - 8:45 am and lunches from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. There will be no meal service on the June 11, 2026 (Kamehameha Day) and July 3, 2026 (Independence Day observed) state holidays. All meals must be eaten on campus; no grab-and-go options are available. Children do not have to be enrolled at a participating school to be served, and meals will consist of solid foods. Key Programs: Administers the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program to provide vaccinations through community healthcare providers for uninsured and underinsured children birth - 18 years of age. Provides education and information to healthcare providers and general public related to vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases. Monitors immunization levels in schools, child care centers, and targeted populations. Oversees enforcement of school immunization and physical examination requirements. (SWCC Free store) The free store is a community resource that offers clothing, household items, and other essentials at no cost. Each registered participant can shop once a month. Monthly schedule is subject to change. Call to confirm.

(Kupu Culinary Social Enterprise, Kupu Grinds, Kupu Culinary, Hookupu Center Catering) The Kupu Culinary Program provides hands-on experience for participants to interact with the food and beverage industry through catering services, event handling, and operating the Kupu Food Truck. Whether supporting large-scale events at the Hookupu Center or preparing daily meals for the Kupu Community Program, Kupu provides participants with industry-aligned training that promotes youth empowerment, job readiness, and workforce development within Hawaii’s growing green economy. The Kupu Culinary Program has responded to disasters in the form of providing meals to those in need. In addition to technical culinary training, participants strengthen essential soft skills such as communication, time management, and teamwork, equipping them to transition successfully into long-term employment or further educational opportunities in the culinary or service industries.

Investigates all drug complaints. We register and investigate all violations of persons who administer, prescribe, manufacture or dispense controlled substances in the State, including those who work at methadone clinics. The Division is also responsible for Hawaii’s Electronic Prescription Accountability System (e-Pass) which monitor’s all Schedule II through V controlled substance prescriptions filled in the State of Hawaii.

(Makahiki Medical and Dental Clinic, Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Makahiki Clinic) Waikiki Health's Makahiki Medical and Dental Clinic offers medical care, integrated behavioral health services, dental care, optometry, tobacco treatment, and pharmacy services.

(Our Kupuna, Hawaii VA Foundation) The program connects each low-income homebound kupuna with a sponsor (a community volunteer who shops for and delivers groceries, medication and necessary supplies to the kupuna's home every 2 weeks). The kupuna pays for the groceries that the volunteer delivers. The volunteer does not enter the kupuna's home. Inquire about other islands in the service area.

The Reel Camps provide a courageous and safe environment for girls (cis/trans), femmes, non-binary, gender-fluid, and gender-queer youth, as well as any other youth who identify outside of the gender binary. It is a place where they can express their creativity, boost their confidence, and embark on a journey of personal transformation. Participants learn to create and share their own stories, which are meaningful and deserve to be heard and seen.

(Ka'u Rural Health Clinic) Provides medical services and family practice.

Provides developmentally appropriate play activities for hospitalized children. Conducts pre-operative tours to minimize stress and anxiety for child/family related to illness, hospitalization or medical encounters. Coordinates volunteer activities in playroom. Conducts interventions to prevent emotional trauma. Available to all patients.

(HCNP, Nutrition Program - Hawaii County, Meals on Wheels) Nutrition Sites provide morning activities and lunches in congregate settings for seniors, 60 years old or older. Meals on Wheels are available for seniors, 60 years old or older, who are homebound due to illness or disability. Rents, sells and repairs durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.) and respiratory equipment (oxygen, sleep products). And infusion therapy (IV drugs).

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

(SFHV, Strong Families Home Visits) This program provides comprehensive and culturally appropriate professional and paraprofessional home visitation services to families with children ages birth to 3 years old. Program participants are referred by Child Welfare Services, Voluntary Case Management, or Family Strengthening Services programs. Service interventions reduce child abuse and neglect risks, increase family self-sufficiency, address family stressors, and improve child adjustment and achievement. Domestic Violence Services for Families offers a full spectrum of individual, group and family services to men, women and children to aid in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence in families and to strengthen child resilience and overall wellbeing. Service that are available include: -A Comprehensive Basic Assessment including a Trauma Assessment as needed -Risk Assessment -Crisis Management -Safety Planning -Development of a Comprehensive Service Plan -Individual, group and/or family counseling and support for each referred family member -Supervised visitation/exchanges and/or therapeutic visitation -Support Services and outreach which may include but are not limited to case management, resource linkages, domestic violence advocacy, temporary restraining order support, and in-home visits to educated about parenting and life skills

Private preschool for boys and girls aged 3-4 years old. Children entering the 3 year old program, K3, must be 3 years old by August 31st for the year that children will be entering into the program.
