HomeAid's Kauhale Management Division provides secure, shared housing at Kipuola Kauahale, light case management, job readiness support, and opportunities for education and community engagement primarily for single individuals. Additional support for mental health resources and counseling referrals, transportation assistance for work or school, and health and wellness programs for residents may be available.
Residents have their own "sleeping pod" but share communal space (toilet, shower, kitchen, computer lab, public areas, etc.). Residents are required to attend weekly or monthly community meetings, help with shared chores to maintain the common areas, follow site policies for safety, treat others with kindness and respect, and stay engaged with job training, education, or personal development activities.

Hawaii Relief Program (CCH)

(Hawaii Relief Program) Catholic Charities Hawaii has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including:
-Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month)
-One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000)
-Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source)
-One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source).
Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees.
Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers.
