(Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances. Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times. Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs. The Aloha Diaper Bank Maui Pantry and the Aloha Diaper Bank Kauai Pantry works with partner agencies to distribute diapers to families in need. Nani's Cafe provides breakfast and coffee during the week of March 30-31, 2026 7:00 am - 10:30 am for those persons affected by the Kona Low on March 2026. Nani's cafe is also accepting donations of ice and water. Coolers are set up outside of the cafe for people to drop off ice and water. It is a self serve drop off location. (Family Center and Immigrant Resource Center, Family and Economic Opportunity Center, C-BASED program, Competency-BASED Community School Diploma Program, Competency BASED Community School Diploma Program) The Economic Opportunity Center (EOC) provides workforce development, job readiness training, and financial literacy training for families and individuals who are underemployed or unemployed. EOC helps clients develop their potential, provides technical assistance, and assists in removing personal barriers to employment through one-on-one coaching. EOC partners with local employers to provide pipelines to employment for underserved workers.

(Kaahumanu Hou Christian School) Private school includes grades PK-12 for boys and girls.

Offers outpatient services for adults and adolescents with mental health diagnosis. Includes psychological assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, case management, intensive in-school services, family and individual psychotherapy services.

Parent Participation Preschool is a three-phased program for parents to assist in their child's transition from home to school. Each phase requires a different amount of participation. The children progress through the program based on their development and mastered skills not age. -Pueo (Phase 1): Children begin a foundational program where they are introduced to a more structured learning environment. The programs main focuses are colors, shapes, letter recognition, and more. The class meets twice a week for 2 hours. This class requires 100% parents participation. -Honu Phase 2): Children entering Honu possess some basic, fundamental preschool abilities and are inspired to work independently, explore academics, use their creativity, and learn the importance of a daily routine. Guide Dogs of Hawaii provides ongoing Orientation and Mobility (O and M) training, guide dog veterinary care, and nutritional support. We also assist individuals in preparing for their guide dog training to increase their chances of success.

(Act 278) Kauai Economic Opportunity has been contracted to administer the Eviction Mediation Pilot Program. This two-year pilot program requires early and free mediation between landlords and tenants before eviction for nonpayment of rent. The program runs February 5, 2026 - February 4, 2028. Tenants have 10 calendar days to respond to an eviction notice. If a tenant requests mediation in 10 day notice period, then the landlord must participate before filing for eviction. Mediation sessions are online via Zoom or in person, per request. For landlords, visit the website for more information and to submit a Landlord Intake Form to start the process.
