Serves as the liaison office for the Governor's Office in American Samoa. Helps people obtain documents such as birth and marriage certificates from the Vital Records Office; verification of completion of High School from the DOE and travel autorizations for those traveling without the proper documents. Also has a volunteer immigration case worker who assists with immigration and social services matters.

(SSO) Department of Education Seamless Summer Option (SSO) Program provides meals free of charge at participating public schools for children 1 year old - 18 years old June 9, 2026 - July 17, 2026. Children do not need to be enrolled in public school to participate. Schools will serve breakfast 7:15 am - 8:45 am and lunches from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. There will be no meal service on the June 11, 2026 (Kamehameha Day) and July 3, 2026 (Independence Day observed) state holidays. All meals must be eaten on campus; no grab-and-go options are available. Children do not have to be enrolled at a participating school to be served, and meals will consist of solid foods. We are an educational membership program providing noncredit, college-level offerings designed to serve older adults’ continuing social, developmental and intellectual needs. A $60 Term Membership in OLLI entitles an individual to enroll in up to three courses or workshops and attend free special events on a space-available basis during that term. US Military Index: Index of individuals in the United States military who died, or were declared dead, in Korea or Vietnam (1950-1975).

(Kuaana Project) The Hawaii Health & Harm Reduction Center provides the highest quality services for the transgender community. Through advocacy and understanding, our trained staff is able to provide basic social services along with HIV and Hepatitis education and testing.

(HI HELPS) Provides access to the enrollment process via smartphone, iPad, laptop, desktop, zoom call, standard phone call or referral to community health centers for walk-ins. Uses a needs assessment tool to determine appropriate health insurance option, including retiree/federal or veteran insurance as well as marketplace, medicare and medicaid solutions. Guides consumers through the healthcare.gov marketplace eligibility and application process using a direct enrollment pathway. The system reduces need for complicated identity verification modules and allows the enrollee or a marketplace assister select a plan and enroll in under 15 minutes. Reviews eligibility information and enrollment forms to help individuals who may qualify for medicare, medicare savings programs and/or medicaid programs. Refers individuals to appropriate state or federal agencies for issues that require investigation and follow up. Compares plan benefits, pricing, deductibles and services that are not covered. Uploads required documents to facilitate marketplace enrollments. Monitors enrollments for acceptance, premium payments and issuance of member identification cards. Assists with cancellation of the marketplace plan if no longer needed. Trains team of community certified application assisters and monitors annual recertification and credentials. Ensures all activities are compliant and meet federal and state regulations including protected health information mandates. Develops and distributes outreach materials to community health centers, food bank distribution locations, and other venues where the newly unemployed utilize resources available due to the pandemic. No face to face contact needed to enroll and those that qualify for Medicaid will be contacted by Medicaid with eligibility results and/or approval. Health premium subsidy based on household income. There is a 60 day window beginning the day coverage is lost to qualify for the special enrollment period.

Spill The Tea Cafe (STTC) offers a range of services, including individual and group therapy, mentorship, care coordination, and psychoeducation, to address the specific needs and preferences of each teen. We also extend our support to families and caregivers, providing community resources and referrals to help them navigate the challenges of mental health, and achieve lasting recovery and resilience for their youth. Our goal is to promote the mental health and well-being of adolescents and to help our keiki shine.

(Hale O Ulu) Youth ages 6 years old - 23 years old who are a part of or are eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are offered individual learning plans that help them to recapture school credits, and assist them in understanding their learning styles and challenges. Students and their families are offered counseling and other social services. This helps the student to address more than just their educational issues and have the support to be successful as they continue their education. Provides alternative secondary school for high risk or alienated youths, grades 7th to 12th, who have difficulty adjusting in a traditional school. Academic and clinical counseling are integrated. Goal is to return students to regular school.

Assesses client information and circumstances to determine need and/or eligibility for services and benefits. Provides burial assistance benefits including burial, burial allowance, plot or interment allowance, headstone or grave marker, burial flags, presidential memorial certificate, dependency and indemnity compensation and other benefits. Provides escort services including accompanying and personally assisting a client to obtain services. Provides letter writing, letter reading, records repository, notary public, recordation of forms. Will file original documents, specifically DD-214s or equivalent for clients.

(Hoopono Services for the Blind Branch) Assists people with visual impairment, blindness, or both deafness and blindness to obtain and maintain employment and/or independent functioning. Provides evaluation, counseling and guidance. Provides physical and mental restoration, vocational and other training, job development and placement, and supported employment. Supplies assistive aids and devices. Teaches mobility skills, personal and home management, and communication skills.

(Ohana Connections Program) The core beliefs of the program are: all children entering foster care have the right to know and connect with their family, a right to learn about their family history, a right to maintain their family relationships, and a right to belong to a family, community, and place. Like all children, they deserve to feel stable, secure, and loved. The ‘Ohana Connections Program, working in conjunction with the ‘Ohana Finding Program, finds and engages the foster youth’s family members and other kinship family, and then helps nurture and support those renewed family connections. The time it takes for `Ohana Connections to be completed varies in length for each family, but all efforts work toward the goal of the program: to help families reweave their family cloth so every foster child has relationships that can last for a lifetime. Jewish Community Services of Hawaii provides case management, crisis intervention and referrals to resources. Services are provided through Zoom meetings, phone, and some home visiting. We have staff on Hawaii Island, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Maui operates a drop-in service facility for youth ages 6 years old to 18 years old, if enrolled in high school. Programs and activities include: character and leadership; healthy lifestyles; sports, fitness, and recreation; education; and workforce development.
