(Hoopono Services for the Blind Branch) Assists people with visual impairment, blindness, or both deafness and blindness to obtain and maintain employment and/or independent functioning. Provides evaluation, counseling and guidance. Provides physical and mental restoration, vocational and other training, job development and placement, and supported employment. Supplies assistive aids and devices. Teaches mobility skills, personal and home management, and communication skills.
