(Employment and Training Program) Provides skills training, job readiness training, job placement, education/training support, and case management services.

Lanakila Teaching and Learning Centers (TLC), a program of Lanakila Pacific, assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with mastering basic skills to expand their life experiences and foster a sense of independence. Focusing on each person’s individual needs, Adult Day Health programs located in Honolulu and Wahiawa offer in-house classes, community outings and recreational opportunities that can help participants build the confidence and skills needed to integrate into the community as well as engage in volunteer and pre-vocational activities. The Employment Exploration component enables participants to identify interests and explore potential integrated employment settings.

(YWCA of Kauai Camp Sloggett) Operates camp for use by schools, churches, non-profit agencies, family groups and other organizations. Used for day-long or overnight workshops, seminars or training programs. Space available for tent camping. Situated in the lush forest of Koke`e State Park is YWCA of Kaua'i Camp Sloggett. We offer a rustic and peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the 4,640 acre Koke`e forest and the 1,800 acre Waimea Canyon State Park.

Catholic Charities Hawaii operates a residential program for adult pregnant women who are without resources, such as a safe, secure place to live, and emotional support from family or others. Mary Jane Program - Residential Services provides residential, educational, counseling, advocacy and other supportive services to pregnant women facing an unplanned, crisis pregnancy. Specifically, the program provides expectant mothers with education on child birth, infant care, and life skills. This program provides women with a healthy and safe place to live while they develop skills needed to increase their level of independence and self-sufficiency. Women may enter the program at any point of their pregnancy and when parenting, may remain in the program up to four months after infant is born; if infant is placed for adoption, the mother may remain for up to six weeks. Follow up services are offered after residents complete the program.

• A safe space away from conflict.
• An escape from any unsafe / uncomfortable living situation.
• Resources and support towards conflict resolution and long-term safe living space.

We also offer many programs to support youth and families that do NOT require youth to be sheltered at Hale Pono, including mediation and conflict resolution services, referrals to community resources, and other supportive drop-in/outreach programs at our facility.

(Hale Mauliola) Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

(North Shore Food Bank) North Shore Food Bank provides a walk in food distribution at Waialua Community Association (Haleiwa Gym). Additional community services include help with community health servies, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application help, and other information for person who may be houseless. Works for the preservation and enhancement of health for the residents of Kauai and Niihau. Maintains a community wide network of health care and human service agencies, organizations and consumers. Promotes access to comprehensive health care. Provides consultation and training in the areas of health planning, program development, continuous quality improvement and specific health care disciplines. Works with county, state and federal agencies to meet identified health and human service needs.

Family conferencing is a traditional group resolution process focusing on repairing and strengthening relationships when youthful offenders admit wrong doing. The conference also provides the victim the opportunity to explain how they were harmed and ask questions of the offender. The conference ends with a reparations agreement to make things "pono".

Operation School Bell provides new school clothing to children in schools identified as Title 1 by the Hawaii State Department of Education and school personnel. In schools with school uniforms, a school shirt is paid for by the Assistance League of Hawaii.

HUGS's Sibiling Support program provides specialized programs for siblings of children with life-threatening, chronic illness. Includes a sibling camp for HUGS members.

The Representative Payee program provides money management and budget counseling for individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) / Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits who are unable to manage their finances on their own due to a diagnosable mental illness. (Aka'ula School) Akaula School is a private school which includes grades 5-12 for boys and girls.

Educates about agriculture, youth development, and consumerism. Advises on soil management, livestock, crops, and farm management. Conducts 4-H clubs. Advices on development of cooperatives and organizations. Assists in community development and long-range planning.

Provides support and information for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning youth, their parents, teachers, counselors, and youth workers. If enough participants are available we can provides weekly support groups for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth up to age 25, when we have a minimum of 5 interested participants.
