Personal Ancestor File software available for use on computers on library to make your own family records. 7. Hawaii delayed birth records index on computer.

(HUOA) The Legacy Ballroom is a fully air-conditioned, multi-functional auditorium/theater and banquet hall, featuring a 40 foot wide theater stage, a professional lighting and sound system and a large projection screen that drops from above the stage. Launched in January 2020, the Service Excellence Certificate of Achievement curriculum provides fundamental skills for employment in the hospitality industry and beyond. The training marries our unique philosophy for world class service rooted in the Hawaiian culture with world renowned hospitality education from Cornell University. The curriculum was exclusively developed in partnership with the School of Hotel Administration at the Cornell SJ Johnson College of Business, one of the leading hospitality administration programs in the world, for the DOE’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Upon completion of the program’s 9 lessons, students receive a Service Excellence Certificate of Achievement from Cornell University and ClimbHI. The program served 683 students and teachers in its first year, and is currently available for DOE CTE students. The Kauai Independent Food Bank (KIFB) makes referrals for food to the public (individuals needing food). Referrals are made to the 50 distribution sites throughout Kauai and specifically non-profit member agencies and churches on Kauai. The KICB Food pantry on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Call for emergency food on days without a food pantry. Please bring a reusable bag and and ID if possible.

Counselor does not impose own theology.

Provides clinic for health and medical care services.

Senior Programs assists seniors in connecting with senior clubs and also assists senior clubs with facilitation of their meetings, organization of special events, scheduling of guest speakers, and provision of health information. Senior Programs also produces a monthly publication to provide seniors valuable resources and information.

Family Support Unit does paternity establishment for the Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA). Assists in establishment of paternity and child support for children born out of wedlock. Paternity and support may also be established for children born during a marriage but whose natural father is not the husband. Paternity may be established in certain circumstances when the absent parent lives out of state.

The Center is a research organization affiliated with the University of Hawaii at Manoa with facilities located in Kakaako. Conducts cancer research, education and improving patient care. The University of Hawaii Cancer Center collaborates with many local hospitals to conduct and support clinical trials, or studies of newer treatments.

Maintains information resources, i.e. books, magazines, musical recordings, video and audio tapes, State and County government documents and Hawaiiana materials. Provides fax service to send messages to State legislators. Provides access to Hawaii FYI and telephone reference service. Also provides U.S. Passport assistance.

(Meal Delivery - Hawaii Meals on Wheels) Medical meal (diabetic, renal, chopped, pureed, etc.) delivery service to homebound kupuna. Meals are frozen or hot, as needed. Frozen meals delivered once a week to your home and is a week's worth of meals. Hot meals are daily during weekdays, including all holidays. Both hot and frozen programs offer medical meals. Helps frail elderly and disabled individuals preserve their independence at home by providing nutritious meals and regular personal contact. Clients will have to have limited mobility; not be able to meet certain criteria of daily living i.e. difficulty dressing themselves, unable to cook or shop on their own. For private pay and sponsored services, A Hawaii Meals on Wheels staff will check in with their physician on their health status.

Provides substance abuse treatment and other services for those with dual diagnosis.
