(Pa‘ūpili - Lahaina 3rd Saturdays) Festivals of Aloha provides Paupili 3rd Saturdays in Lahaina. It is a monthly community healing gathering held on the 3rd Saturday of the month 10:00 am–5:00 pm in Lahaina Town. Hosted by the Maui Emotional Resilience Collective (Maui ERC) – Healing Journey Team, this series creates a safe, culturally grounded, and inclusive space for residents impacted by the 2023 Maui wildfires. Through cultural practices, music, movement, art, storytelling, and reflection guided by local practitioners and kupuna, Paupili supports collective healing, strengthens emotional resilience, and helps restore community connection and cohesion.

Operates and stocks freshwater public fishing areas on Hawaii, Kauai and Oahu. Shoreline Fishery Management monitors accidental introduction of foreign aquatic species. Develops and manages statewide system of artificial reefs to enhance sportfishing species.

(Food Pantry) Aiea Seventh Day Adventist Church provides food boxes for families in need as well as clean used clothing as needed. We provide grooming supplies as well.

(Hale O Ulu) Youth ages 6 years old - 23 years old who are a part of or are eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are offered individual learning plans that help them to recapture school credits, and assist them in understanding their learning styles and challenges. Students and their families are offered counseling and other social services. This helps the student to address more than just their educational issues and have the support to be successful as they continue their education. Provides alternative secondary school for high risk or alienated youths, grades 7th to 12th, who have difficulty adjusting in a traditional school. Academic and clinical counseling are integrated. Goal is to return students to regular school.

Report abandoned or derelict vehicles parked on public roadways that has not been attended to for more than 24 hours. A derelict vehicle is a vehicle parked on public roadways that is missing major components and renders it inoperable.

Provides counseling, advocacy, representation on behalf of veterans, their families, dependents to secure rights or benefits. Receives, investigates, and resolves disputes and complaints. Assesses client information and circumstances to determine need and/or eligibility for services and benefits. Provides burial assistance benefits including burial, burial allowance, plot or interment allowance, headstone or grave marker, burial flags, presidential memorial certificate, dependency and indemnity compensation and other benefits. Provides escort services including accompanying and personally assisting a client to obtain services. Provides letter writing, letter reading, records repository, notary public, recordation of forms. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to 3 graduating seniors who are currently attending high school in the state of Hawaii and plan to pursue post-high school study on a full-time basis at a university, college, community college, vocational or trade school. Radiation Section: Controls and minimizes ionizing radiation exposure to the public. Licenses x-ray technicians and inspects facilities with x-ray producing devices. Reviews radiation shielding plans for new medical and dental facilities. Collects data concerning lead poisoning, radioactive fallout in air, drinking water, and milk. (HEFAP, Hawaii Emergency Food Benefit, HEFB) The Hawaii Emergency Food Assistance Program (HEFAP) is a new state-sponsored food benefit that is separate from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit. HEFAP will provide a benefit of $250 per person in a household. The HEFAP will be restricted to purchase food and groceries at retail locations that accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards.
