Providing organization

Pacific and Asian Affairs Council

Pacific and Asisan Affairs Council (PAAC) promotes international understanding and greater awareness of foreign affairs among Hawaii's youth through its High School Global Education Program (HSGEP) which serves public, charter, homeschool, and private high school students statewide. The HSGEP builds awareness and understanding of critical global issues impacting Hawaii in the 21st century, empowers students to take action locally, and develops the leadership, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills that are necessary for student success in an interconnected, globalized world. PAAC also runs a K-12 Teacher Program which serves teachers statewide, and serves as local coordinator in the State of Hawaii for the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program.
