Families will be notified of their status on June 1, 2026 via text message. Vibrant Hawaii will assign participants to the distribution site located within their residential zip code. Kaukau 4 Keiki food distribution begins the week of Monday, June 22, 2026 and concludes the week ending Friday, July 31, 2026.

(St Francis Hospice) Nationally accredited by The Joint Commission, St. Francis Hospice, the state’s first hospice program, provides compassionate care and comfort for terminally ill patients in their homes, in nursing homes, and at our inpatient facility in Nuuanu. We make each moment count, enhancing the quality of life for patients, and their families and friends. St. Francis Hospice also has one of the most advanced bereavement services programs, offering support groups, walks in shopping malls, and other activities for families who have lost a loved one. St. Francis Hospice provides a specially trained, interdisciplinary healthcare team that may include a medical director, nurse, social worker, chaplain, hospice aide, volunteer, and bereavement counselor. The St. Francis Hospice care team focuses on each individual patient’s needs to ensure comfort and the best quality of life for our patients and their families.

(Domestic Violence Services for Families) When child abuse occurs in the home, violent behavior towards spouses and others is also often present. After a family is required to enter the child welfare system and is discovered to be experiencing other forms of domestic violence a care plan is developed for each family member. Services are then provided for both survivors (victims) and batterers (perpetrators) of violent behavior. Survivors create a safety plan and are offered various supportive services. Batterers are assessed and provided opportunities to learn alternative attitudes and behaviors. This program works with families involved in the child welfare system who are also experiencing domestic violence. Staff work with each family to assess for domestic violence and/or risk factors related to domestic violence. A care plan is developed for each family member. The services that are available for each family include: Domestic Violence Survivor Support and Pattern Changing Groups for Victims, Individual Counseling and Support for each family member, Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focusing on children, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Children’s Support Groups, and/or Adolescent Support Groups.

Hawaii Dog Foundation (HDF) is a dog rescue organization based on Oahu. HDF is run entirely by volunteers. Our focus is on taking in unwanted dogs; caring for them in our network of foster homes; and then finding permanent, loving homes for them. Hears and determines all complaints regarding violations of the liquor control laws of the state, or complaints regarding violations of rules and regulations established by the Liquor Commission. Imposes fines or punishment as may be provided by law. Adopts rules and regulations which have the effect of laws in the county. Enforces the provisions of the liquor laws. Grants, renews or refuses applications for liquor licenses. After an establishment has a liquor license, Commission investigators make periodic checks at the establishment. (Ho'omana Grocery Assistance - Kapaa) Church of the Pacific offers a food pantry at the base of the Wailua River.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

(Lunalilo Home’s Meals-to-Go) We prepare balanced meals using fresh ingredients to meet a third of the Recommended Dietary Allowance for an individual as established by the U.S. Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences. We can also accommodate special requests for modified and therapeutic meals including: diabetic, low sodium, reduced cholesterol, low potassium, low fat, and low carbohydrate. Lunalilo Home is part of 'Ai Pono, a movement to sustainably feed Hawaii and malama our aina and wai. Lunalilo Home prepares and packages local style, nutritious meals featuring indigenous and locally-sourced ingredients, using fresh herbs and vegetables grown in Lunalilo Home's own garden beds in our farm-to-kupuna program. Our Meals to Go are currently Waimanalo to Kaimuki but we hope to expand in the near future.

Works in partnership with County Early Childhood Resource Coordinator to promote coordinated early childhood education and care system for children from birth to age eight in the County of Maui. Provides phone consultations, information on early childhood related topics, and referrals to early childhood services. Child care payment subsidies are available to qualified working families, children with parents in school/job training, and retired grandparents raising their grandchildren. Also collaborates with the Department of Education in providing school readiness materials and programs.

(Worklife Hawaii, CFS EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM) Companies contract with WorkLife Hawai‘i for their employees to receive confidential professional counseling, education, training, crisis management, and substance abuse assessment. Companies also receive management consultation on personnel and organizational issues. Helps employees and their families covered under employee assistance contracts for problems such as stress, family conflict, financial difficulty, or drug and alcohol abuse.

Endangered Species Initiative: Influences the reduction of illegal trade and medicinal use of rhinoceros horn, protection of wild tigers and other species in Asian countries.
