Hawaii Meals on Wheels – Home Delivered Meals

(Meal Delivery - Hawaii Meals on Wheels) Medical meal (diabetic, renal, chopped, pureed, etc.) delivery service to homebound kupuna. Meals are frozen or hot, as needed. Frozen meals delivered once a week to your home and is a week's worth of meals. Hot meals are daily during weekdays, including all holidays. Both hot and frozen programs offer medical meals. Helps frail elderly and disabled individuals preserve their independence at home by providing nutritious meals and regular personal contact.
Clients will have to have limited mobility; not be able to meet certain criteria of daily living i.e. difficulty dressing themselves, unable to cook or shop on their own.
For private pay and sponsored services, A Hawaii Meals on Wheels staff will check in with their physician on their health status.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk.
