Bridge House Clean and Sober Living provides a residential living opportunity for people in recovery from drug/alcohol abuse. We are a culturally-based program, utilizing Hawaiian health and healing principles. We also have a vocational skills building component, which prepares individuals for entry/re-entry into the work force. We also operate an outpatient substance abuse treatment program at an off-site location that provides assessment and formal treatment.

Offers weekly hot supper at Kealakehe Intermediate School for anyone who needs a hot meal. Run by volunteers preparing and serving donated food and food purchased with donated funds. Volunteers are welcomed. Meet N Eat will be open the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years 2025. Meet N' Eat is a project of the Kona Task Force on Feeding the Hungry.

Operates a thrift store selling low cost clothing, furniture, household goods, toys and more. Proceeds benefit vocational training and job placement programs for people with barriers to employment. Donation Drop Off On-site.

Offers plays, musicals and performing arts classes and programs. Facility may be rented out for productions, meetings, etc. Offers full service costume shop with costumes for sale or rental.

Rainbow Mililani opened in 1987. We are located in the heart of Mililani Town on the grounds of the Christ Lutheran Church , although we are not affiliated with any religious denomination. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii. We offer services to 60 children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. Licensed by the State of Hawaii Department of Human Service and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. (Act 278) The Mediation Center of the Pacific has been contracted to administer the Eviction Mediation Pilot Program. This two-year pilot program requires early and free mediation between landlords and tenants before eviction for nonpayment of rent. The program runs February 5, 2026 - February 4, 2028. Tenants have 10 calendar days to respond to an eviction notice. If a tenant requests mediation in 10 day notice period, then the landlord must participate before filing for eviction. Mediation sessions are online via Zoom or in person, per request. For landlords, visit the website for more information and to submit a Landlord Intake Form to start the process. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church provides a food pantry for those in need. Dates are subject to change please call for information. For holidays the pantry is usually on Thursday the week before the holiday.

Operates a comprehensive residential treatment program for chemically dependent adolescents with length of stay ranging from 28 days to 1 year. Requires family participation in the multi-family group on Sunday afternoon (Oahu families must attend all sessions, while neighbor island families attend a minimum of once per month).

Assists individuals in applying for all types of Social Security benefits including retirement, disability, survivor benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicare. Provides advice on rights and responsibilities under Social Security. Issues Social Security card and numbers. Also Medicare is contracting with private companies to offer Medicare-approved drug discount cards. In 2025 you must have an appointment before coming to the office. Maintains information resources, i.e. books, magazines, musical recordings, video and audio tapes, State and County government documents and Hawaiiana materials. Provides fax service to send messages to State legislators. Provides access to wi-fi and telephone reference service. Voter registration forms also available.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

(Employees Retirement System - Liaison) Acts as liaison for Employee's Retirement System questions. Acts as Employees' Retirement System counselor and liaison for all State or County employees and retirees.

HUD enforces the Fair Housing Act and other federal laws that prohibit discrimination in nearly all housing transactions.

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

Administers public service program for volunteers from community groups, churches, or businesses who agree to pick up litter on a section of highway their organization has adopted. Volunteers pick up litter on the specified section of highway at least four times a year. Provides high visibility vests, trash bags and safety information for volunteers. Removes filled bags and heavy hazardous items from roadsides. Erects signs on the highways to recognize volunteers' cleaning efforts.

Distributes hiking maps and information on trails. Issues hiking and camping permits to access state forest land. Issues permits for non-commercial harvesting of ti leaves and bamboo.

(Youth Employment and Success Hawaii) YES Hawaii serves youth ages 14-26. The program provides peer support and outreach services. The Program is youth driven and designed to engage foster youth in peer mentoring and meaningful and supportive events and activities. Services include outreach and support, peer mentoring, events and activities, leadership and skill-building, and social media and other electronic communication training.

(Four-H Youth Program) Provides an informal youth program, designed to assist youth in acquiring knowledge life skills, and becoming self-directed, productive and contributing members of society. Through active, experiential learning, youth learn about science, communication, personal management, leadership, citizenship, health, safety, and nutrition. Members participate in citizenship projects, literacy program using television; "GHOSTWRITERS"; "KAMP" (Kindergartners Are Most Precious) designed to promote school readiness, success and parent-child interaction; and a "Youth At Risk" educational theatre project.

(VET House) Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

Provides information and permit applications for building, plumbing, grading and related construction activity on public and private property. Refers enforcement of construction codes, and housing ordinances to Maui for action.
