(Hawaii Relief Program) Vibrant Hawaii is helping people to complete the Hawaii Relief Program applications. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. Goodwill Industries of Hawaii provides a free donation pick up in select Oahu communities: East Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Kapolei, and Manoa zip codes. At this time we are not servicing condos and apartments. Please feel free to drop your donations off at a drop off location.

Gives the opportunity for people to garden with the Community Recreational Gardening Program, providing them with land and water. All other improvements and services shall be provided by the gardeners. Each Community Garden is run by a self-governing body following general rules and regulations set up by the City and County of Honolulu. (After School Drop In) The Susannah Wesley Community Center After School Enrichment Program provides a safe, structured spaces where youth ages 7 years old -18 year old can build life skills, discover new interest, and form meaningful relationships with peers. Activities focus on personal growth, leadership, and academic achievement.

Hoa Aina O Makaha (HAOM) provides Kupuna U-Pick event where students from Papahana o Kaiona will lead activities on the farm including harvesting, sugarcane juice refresher, recipe sharing, and value-added products. Kupuna 55 years or older are welcome to connect, learn, and enjoy this time with youth from Waianae and the HAOM staff. Bring your moopuna! This event is free and open to all kūpuna in our community. (BHOF) Provides a variety of educational programs and services to patients, their families and health professionals, including: written information on the prevention, detection, and treatment of osteoporosis; a website that is regularly updated with the latest information on bone health and osteoporosis; a patient information service; professional educational materials; and assistance in establishing and maintaining support groups. Works to increase public awareness of osteoporosis through prevention programs and campaigns, public policy forums and grassroots efforts.
