The Arc of Maui County has five Residential Group Homes for people with developmental disabilities. Each home has four to five residents with staff support 24 hours a day. Services include assistance with activities of daily living, recreational activities, and transportation. Socialization and community integration are part of everyday life at the homes. Nursing services and medication assistance are available. All of our homes are licensed by the State of Hawaii Department of Health. Our homes are licensed as either Domiciliary or Intermediate Care and most are fully wheelchair accessible. The homes are located in Kahului, Kihei, Maunaloa, and Napili.

Operates a multi-purpose cultural center which includes a 1,200 seat theater for local community and visiting professional groups, a visual arts gallery for local and visiting exhibitors, a Hula staging area for Hawaiian cultural events, an open air amphitheater for various usages and a courtyard staging area for informal and formal gatherings. Offers rehearsal space, stage scene production space and two classrooms for dance and theatrical programs. Offers meeting and conference rooms.

(Fresh Produce Distribution and Food Pantry) Lighthouse Outreach Center provides a fresh produce box. Food varies weekly. Visit the website's EVENTS section to view the calendar to see which on Friday there will be a food distribution.

Operates a 24-hour, toll-free child abuse hotline. Refers callers to national, state, and local child abuse resources.

(December 2021 Flood) Offers immediate emergency care services to victims of disaster. Emergency care services include emergency food and clothing. Provides mental health and stress management assistance to victims of disaster. Salvation Army is NOT taking donated items for the floods at this time. People are always welcome to donate items at our Thrift Stores, but NOT specific to flooding. (Food Pantry) Calvary Chapel South Maui provides a food pantry for those in need. Food pantry is at Suite 420. Calvary Chapel South Maui also accepts food donations. Produce and protein greatly needed. The pantry is closed on federal and major holidays. December 25, 2025 - January 4, 2026 Closed

Provides correctional care and custody of adult law offenders committed by the courts to serve sentences and arrested persons unable to make bail.

Provides counseling, advocacy, representation on behalf of veterans, their families, dependents to secure rights or benefits. Receives, investigates, and resolves disputes and complaints. Assesses client information and circumstances to determine need and/or eligibility for services and benefits. Provides burial assistance benefits including burial, burial allowance, plot or interment allowance, headstone or grave marker, burial flags, presidential memorial certificate, dependency and indemnity compensation and other benefits. Provides escort services including accompanying and personally assisting a client to obtain services. Provides letter writing, letter reading, records repository, notary public, recordation of forms. (Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program.
