Reviews county policies and practices to determine impact on persons with disabilities. Recommends use of state and federal funding for programs and improved accessibility. Recommends changes to policies and practices which may not meet the county, state or federal law. Reviews county program and facility accessibility. Promotes housing, employment, transportation and other activities to meet the needs of persons with disabilities. Educates the community concerning nondiscriminatory practices regarding persons with disabilities.
