(WUCC Food Pantry, WUCC) Central Union Church Windward Food Distribution Program provides non-perishable food and prepackaged bags of food (protein, fruit, starch, vegetables). The church is committed to providing this outreach to the community and everyone who has a need for food is welcome. Please bring your own bag for food pick up. Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. Native Hawaiian homeowners (owner occupied) may receive up to $15,000. Native Hawaiian renters may receive up to $7,500. Assistance is limited to 1 award per address. Note: Some homeowner and renter households may both qualify. What counts as damage? Major Damage means the home is Not safe to live in or Requires major repairs. Destroyed means the home is a total loss or cannot be repaired. Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs provides trained service dogs to people with disabilities other than blindness in Hawaii, as well as related education to the community. In order to minimize expenses, we do not have a formal office location. We have our dogs live in homes of our puppy raiser volunteers around Oahu and on the Big Island. We do have a formal kennel location in Pupukea, on the North Shore of Oahu.

Accepts donations, including automobiles. Donated automobiles must be in running condition with papers. Founded in 1971, Habilitat is located in Kaneohe, Hawaii on the windward side of Oahu. Habilitat helps those with substance abuse dependency and behavioral problems change into productive members of our community.

Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency collects requests for assistance on clean ups from storms or other events. If you need assistance such as down trees, sandbags, etc. visit the website and click on the link “Request for Assistance." Data is collected and agencies are sought to find help for the community. The Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency also collects information on residential and commercial property damage from storms or other events. Call to report damage. (Loaves and Fishes) Sacred Heart Church provides food to those in need. Food Pantry Dates for 2021- Once a month on November 24th and December 16th Beginning 2022 - food pantry services will be available the 4th Thursday of every month

(Youth Build Honolulu) Provides an educational and job training program that prepares its participants for responsible citizenship. Participants are non-high school graduates, 16-24 years of age, with personal histories filled with alcohol and drug abuse, criminal activities, and limited financial resources. Is the last chance for individuals to earn a high school diploma and develop skills to prevent future incarceration, drug addiction, teen pregnancy, and long-term unemployment.

Raises funds and supports the work of the United Nations Children's Fund by raising support for its programs and increasing public awareness of the challenges facing the world's children.

Prevents and suppresses outbreaks of vector-borne diseases and serious vector nuisances through inspections, surveillance, monitoring, enforcement, consultation and education in the control of harmful vermin such as insects that bite or are a public nuisance such as ants, sand flies, and other insects. Also gives public advice on small animals and insects causing a problem in or near a home or building such as mice, roaches, flies, gnats, mites, rats, and nesting birds. Offers information and advice to individuals experiencing pest problems. Accepts birds that the public drops off for West Nile testing. They no longer spray for mosquitos.
