Eligibility

People with disabilities other than blindness. Must have documentation from a doctor on the disability and need for a dog. Must meet the requirements of the organizations to obtain, care and handle a dog.

Fees

No payment has been absolutely required. However, donations from recipient family and friends are most appreciated.

Service area

Oahu

Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs provides trained service dogs to people with disabilities other than blindness in Hawaii, as well as related education to the community. In order to minimize expenses, we do not have a formal office location. We have our dogs live in homes of our puppy raiser volunteers around Oahu and on the Big Island. We do have a formal kennel location in Pupukea, on the North Shore of Oahu.
