CARF accredited programs provide outpatient medication assisted and drug free treatment: methadone maintenance, suboxone (buprenorphine) and detox program, outreach, and interim services for persons addicted to opiates, pain killers, and illicit opiates in on Oahu and Hilo on Hawaii Island. In Puna on Hawaii Island, Native Hawaiian culturally based intensive outpatient and outpatient program provided. Cornerstone, located in Honolulu, provides outpatient, intensive outpatient and continuing care services. Trauma-Informed-Care environment.

Jury trials are held in the Circuit Courts, which have general jurisdiction in civil and criminal cases. They also have exclusive jurisdiction in probate, guardianship and criminal felony cases, as well as civil cases where the contested amount exceeds $40,000. Circuit Courts share concurrent jurisdiction with District Courts in civil non-jury cases in which the amounts in controversy are between $10,000 and $40,000. Other cases heard by the Circuit Courts include mechanics' liens and misdemeanor violations transferred from the District Courts for jury trials.

Immigration and Refugee Services helps with documentation, housing assistance, food, etc. There is current agency recognition and staff accreditation by the Board of Immigration Appeals of the Department of Justice. Pacific Gateway Center's Immigration and Refugee Services helps with case management for pre-immigration through arrival. (LMPC) The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center (LMPC) provides social, recreational, educational, cultural and health activities with the overall goal of helping seniors remain independent and preventing premature institutionalization. Classes in Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Cribbage and other board games, Dance (Chinese, Hula, Korean, Yui Buyo) , Digital Technology, Gardening, Guitar, Hanafuda, Japanese Calligraphy, Line Dancing, Mah Jong, Pickleball, Ping Pong, Language Classes (ASL, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish), Sewing, Stretch and Tone, Tai Chi, Taisho Koto, Yoga, and many more classes. A variety of cultural clubs meet weekly. Opportunities for community service, obtaining new skills, health improvement, continuing education for seniors and access to other services.

Basically the same as Alcoholics Anonymous' 12 step program. We substitute food for alcohol. We are a free walk-in program for people with various kinds of food disorders. We provide a safe place to discuss these issues, and teach the 12 step solution. No one member is in charge. We have no dues or fees. We have a secretary who leads the meetings and this position is cycled usually every three months.

(Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatment Services) Provides outreach into community to assess needs and develop a treatment plan. Provides case management utilizing resources in the community. Conducts health screening and nutrition/diabetic education.

Operates work and resocialization furlough. In-house programs include substance abuse and sex offenders treatment programs.

Healthy Mothers Health Babies Coalition of Hawaii (HMHB) offers "Hawaii Cribs for Kids," a safe sleep education course, for low-income, high-risk pregnant women and their families. This program provides education on the risk factors, how to create a safe sleep environment, and tracks the baby's health throughout its first year of life. Health centers and community partners refer income-eligible parents to HMHB, and each eligible family receives a free Pack n' Play crib after completing the class so their child has a safe place to sleep.

(988, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) Suicide prevention and crisis intervention service available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Callers to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline are routed to the nearest accredited crisis center in the caller's area. 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline calls are answered by staff at over 200 accredited crisis centers across the United States who provide callers with crisis counseling and mental health referrals. The Lifeline’s Crisis and Text Chat Service routes chat visitors to a subnetwork of crisis centers accredited in providing online emotional support. Developing Options to Violence (DOV) offers a full spectrum of services to women, men, adolescents, and children in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence. Professional counselors on call to help youth who are in psychiatric crisis or to supplement the efforts of their caregivers. Counselors can refer clients to specialized, short-term, out-of-home placement when needed. The following services are available to families experience domestic violence: Adult Programs

• Domestic violence interventions services for individuals who use physical, emotional, psychological and/ or sexual abuse in intimate relationships.
• Support groups for individuals who are experience emotional, psychological and/or sexual abuse in intimate relationships.
• Violence Control groups for individuals who have use violence towards other family members (parents, siblings)

Adolescent Program: To assist adolescents in understanding their behavior and how to make appropriate changes. Children's Group: To help children who have witnessed domestic violence understand it and deal with their feelings about it. Parents are required to participate in support group while children receive services.

FHLC (Family History Library Catalog): Computer-produced catalog describes all the books, films, pamphlets, maps, etc., available at the main library in Salt Lake City. 2. IGI (International Genealogical Index): A worldwide list of names and selected vital data of more than 150 million people. 3. Ancestral File: Is pedigree linked and can be grouped in families. 4. Social Security Death Index: Lists about 38 million deceased persons who had Social Security numbers, and whose deaths were reported to that administration. 5. US Military Index: Index of individuals in the United States military who died, or were declared dead, in Korea or Vietnam (1950-1975). 6. Personal Ancestor File software available for use on computers on library to make your own family records. 7. Hawaii delayed birth records index on computer.

The Caregiver Foundation provides support for the caregivers and individuals needing care through practical and emotional support services and educational programs. Provides comprehensive care coordination, financial management, guardianship, conservatorship, trusteeship, community education programs and caregiver support groups.

Provides immediate emergency assistance to victims of disasters, including food, shelter, clothing, crisis counseling and other services. Offers classes in CPR, first-aid, aquatics. For military personnel, provides emergency communication services, counseling and referral services. Provides international tracing service. Inspects and tests scales, gas pumps, taxi meters and packages for accurate measurement. Eliminates fraud, misrepresentation and carelessness in quantitative transactions. Investigates complaints. Enforces regulations relative to measuring devices, packages and labels.

Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church provides a food sack to participants who are in need of food, 1 bag per adult. Emergency requests are answered as soon as we find out about it, or when the person is referred to us by social agency as well as our own congregation each Sunday. Beach dwellers and families in multiple family situations are helped with food as soon as we are notified. We also provide used clothing, sheets, blankets, and towels when these items are available.

Na Hoaloha volunteers provides round-trip transportation for older adults or people with a disability for needed medical appointments, procedures, grocery shopping, or medications retrievals. Na Hoaloha provides help to those who are home bound and have no access to other forms of transportation. 10 day advanced notice requested.

Hanalei Farmers' Market is offers fresh produce, artisans, and prepared foods. SNAP/EBT accepted here. The farmer's market is open every Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm including holidays that fall on a Saturday.

Easterseals Hawaii provides individualized early intervention services to children under 3 with or at risk for developmental delays and their families. Services include: Development of an Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP); Parent coaching and family support; Developmental evaluations; Resources, information, and referral services; Assistance to families in transition planning for their child’s transition into the Department of Education special education, Head Start or preschool. Treatment Focus Areas: Cognitive; Language and Communication; Physical; Development; Social and Emotional; Adaptive/Self Care. Program focuses on building a support team for the family and assisting them in meeting challenges via parent coaching and building a foundation of tools and strategies that parents need to support their child’s growth and participation in their community.

Provides rental subsidies (through the Housing Choice Voucher Program) to very low income families.
