(Pauahi Rec Center) Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for adults and seniors, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games, and exercises, music, martial arts, and seasonal activities. Elderly lunch available through Lanakila Rehabilitation. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

This model is clinically proven to help people live longer and better with ALS, as it addresses the medical, social, emotional, and financial challenges they face. The Chapter’s approach in the state of Hawaii is unduplicated and tailored for each client and their loved ones. For example, Care Managers help clients and their loved ones access information and resources in their communities, connect with clinicians who specialize in ALS, obtain durable medical equipment and augmentative communication devices available through the Chapter’s Equipment Loan Program, understand and navigate insurance benefits, provide guidance around home modification, help find professional caregivers, and connect with others living with ALS. And if people with ALS and their loved ones have concerns about anything else related to this disease, our Care Managers are there to help.

(Saint Jude Catholic Church Outreach, St Jude Catholic Church Outreach) Saint Jude Catholic Church Food Pantry provides canned and dry foods. Does not provide any financial assistance. Each client can only use the food pantry twice a month. Tickets are passed out at Tuesday 1:00 pm.

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(Hanahau'oli School) Private school includes grades PK-6 for boys and girls.

(DHS Return to Homeland Program) Assists eligible Hawaii resident aliens and naturalized citizens in returning to their homelands outside of the United States. Kumu Ola Hou is a recovery-oriented transitional shelter for people who have experienced trauma associated with homelessness.
