Parents And Children Together provides a safe, nurturing facility that offers survivors of domestic violence and their children housing for up to 12 months. Services include housing education, childcare referral, and employment counseling. The Lyon Arboretum is a 193.5 acre botanical garden operated by the University of Hawaii. Offers tours, classes and workshops. The Arboretum's Micropropagation Lab and Seed Storage Lab both work to save Hawaii's rare and endangered plants. The Arboretum's Ethnobotanical and Hawaiian gardens are amongst the state's largest collection of cultural and native plants and help to maintain the cultural and natural heritage of Hawaii. Volunteers are needed for public tours, school tours, garden maintenance, trail maintenance, in the labs and visitor's center.

(Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral. Provides client advocacy for women referred by Department of Human Services (DHS) in need of case management and support to leave domestic violent relationships. Six month time period given to provide victims the opportunity to gain focus and perspective of their personal goals and career choice.

Experiential summer program, school credits recovery, case management and support for youth at risk or suspended from school.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

(Saint Jude Catholic Church Outreach, St Jude Catholic Church Outreach) Saint Jude Catholic Church Food Pantry provides canned and dry foods. Does not provide any financial assistance. Each client can only use the food pantry twice a month. Tickets are passed out at Tuesday 1:00 pm.

(H-HEAP, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention-Windward, LIHEAP ECI, ECI) Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) Energy Crisis Intervention (ECI) is designed to help families keep their utilities (gas or electric) on, especially those households that are most vulnerable, such as the elderly, the disabled, and households with young children. H-HEAP primarily assists households by applying an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. Applications are accepted year-round.
