(FSP) Freeway Service Patrol offers a variety of services to assist you when your vehicle has stopped on the freeway or close to off and on ramps. Our goal is to help you get your vehicle started so that you can get back on the road. If your vehicle does not start, a Freeway Service Patrol driver may tow you and your vehicle to an off-freeway location. The services we provide include: -Changing flat tires -Jump starting your car as a result of a dead battery -Radiator refills -Making temporary repairs -Providing gallon of gasoline (we do not provide diesel) -Towing vehicle off the freeway to a designated drop area. Once your vehicle is towed off the freeway, you can call for another towing service or your automobile insurance for further assistance.

(Medical Examiner/Coroners Department) Conducts investigations, inquests, post-mortem examinations and laboratory tests to determine the cause and mode of death for natural deaths unattended by a physician, and on all unnatural deaths (homicides, suicides, accidents or deaths of a suspicious nature). Compiles statistics on death rates, causes of death, etc.

Defends and protects the constitutional freedoms guaranteed in the Bill of Rights and the Hawaii State Constitution. Consists of 3 major program areas: Public Education: Coordinates volunteers. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Early Childhood Services are provided to children three to six years old with delays in which age appropriate milestones are not yet met. These children typically fall outside the scope of the Department of Education & Special Education Services. The needs of each child are met through professional therapeutic services designed for the child to help them thrive in their home, preschool and community. Our goal is to better prepare the child for kindergarten and beyond by using family engagement techniques and strategies.

Meals on Wheels are available for seniors, 60 years old or older, who are homebound due to illness or disability. The purpose of the COVID-19 Emergency Response Volunteer at Hawaii State Hospital is to help the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital staff in its efforts to reduce spread of COVID-19 at the Hospital and in the community we serve. The volunteer will also help with efforts to inform staff, patients, family members of patients, and others in the Hospital's service community on how they can help reduce risk of spreading or contracting COVID-19. Volunteers will help by using, modeling, informing and educating staff and others at the Hospital in safe physical distancing ("social distancing" six feet or more), using electronic communications and internet-based group communications apps to hold meetings, practicing hand hygiene, and special infection control measures to prevent transmission of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Volunteer roles may include, as needed:

• Assist Hospital Administration sort, convey and communicate incoming CDC, DOH and other COVID-19 information
• Assist with written communication

CARF accredited programs provide outpatient medication assisted and drug free treatment: methadone maintenance, suboxone (buprenorphine) and detox program, outreach, and interim services for persons addicted to opiates, pain killers, and illicit opiates in on Oahu and Hilo on Hawaii Island. In Puna on Hawaii Island, Native Hawaiian culturally based intensive outpatient and outpatient program provided. (Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances. Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times. Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs. The Aloha Diaper Bank Maui Pantry and the Aloha Diaper Bank Kauai Pantry works with partner agencies to distribute diapers to families in need.
