(Community Program) The Kupu Community Program integrates environmental education, workforce development, and academic support to promote youth empowerment and long-term career success. Participants begin with hands-on malama aina training, gaining experience in natural resource management, while also working toward educational goals like high school completion or GED/HiSET certification. Throughout the program, participants are introduced to an array of workforce development and job readiness opportunities. Kupu provides transitional employment opportunities by offering paid positions with our Kupu Culinary Program or other programs and partnerships.

Provides counseling help to 49 Rotary Clubs in Hawaii. Dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community through a variety of projects and programs both local and international. Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church provides a food sack to participants who are in need of food, 1 bag per adult. Emergency requests are answered as soon as we find out about it, or when the person is referred to us by social agency as well as our own congregation each Sunday. Beach dwellers and families in multiple family situations are helped with food as soon as we are notified. We also provide used clothing, sheets, blankets, and towels when these items are available.

(HEFAP, Hawaii Emergency Food Benefit, HEFB) The Hawaii Emergency Food Assistance Program (HEFAP) is a new state-sponsored food benefit that is separate from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit. HEFAP will provide a benefit of $250 per person in a household. The HEFAP will be restricted to purchase food and groceries at retail locations that accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards. Operates three core divisions: Fisheries Habitat (Environmental) Protection, Recreational Fisheries, and Commercial Fisheries and Aquaculture. (After School No'eau Program) Ulu A‘e Learning Center uses a high touch, personalized approach in growing the hearts and minds of children during the out of school time though storytelling, Native Hawaiian practices and stewardship experiences. The after school time begins with homework help and moves to lessons in Native Hawaiian practices. Our facility is equipped with indoor and outdoor flexible learning spaces. Three computers are available for student use. Those with personal laptops or iPads will have access to our WIFI for the purpose of completing homework or school projects.
