Conducts surveillance and investigation of communicable diseases (other than tuberculosis, Hansen's Disease, and sexually transmitted diseases). Implements control measures necessary to decrease and prevent infectious disease, including provision of vaccines to health care providers. Provides information to the public about infectious diseases and immunizations. Provides patient referral letters for a free (STDs) chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis test.
