Fur-Angel Foundation is a local 501(c)3 organization located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Humane Society Hawaii Island (HIHS) provides shelter, food, licensing, adoption and euthanasia services for animals picked up by HIHS humane officers or brought in by private owners. Offers certificate for spaying/neuterig animals three times a year. Recruits and trains volunteers to care for the animals, work in the office and represent the Humane Society at community events. (K9 Kokua) K9 Kokua provides direct outreach to dogs of the houseless on Oahu and Maui, persons affected by domestic violence, including kupuna and veterans facing hardship. Services include veterian care resources, wellness checks for dogs, owner education, assistance through housing transitions. Fostering available for person affected by dometic violence. K9 Kokua is an all volunteer agency. Volunteers are accepted for everything from writing thank you cards to direct outreach services.

Educates pet owners on the need to make provisions for the care of animals that may outlive them. Gives guidelines on how to make arrangements such as finding a guardian who will care for the pet after the original owner dies, what needs to be included in the pet owner's will and estate plans, how to leave money to fund that pet's life-long care, and information pet owners can gather that will be used to help ease their pet's transition to a new home.

(Oahus Official Pet Lost and Found Center) Accepts stray animals 24 hours, 7 days a week at 2700 Waialae Ave. Maintains Oahu's database of microchip records. Keeps lost reports on file for 30 days (renewable).
