(VWATS) The Vocational and Work Adjustment Training Services Program (VWATS) is designed to give individuals the opportunity to gain access to 1) opportunities in a variety of environments, 2) training with experts in the field of employment and 3) evaluations to meet the needs of individuals that are deemed Significantly Disabled and Most Significantly Disabled by Oahu’s Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors. No-contact virtual training is also offered. The scope of this service is broad because it is organized to set a model to: Explore local and national job industry Utilize national evaluations to determine an employment profile to aid in gaining and maintaining employment Determine a good person environment fit for potential employment Develop resumes, cover letters and national assessments

Provides services for individuals with disabilities. Waiver services include Adult Day Health (ADH), Personal Assistance (PA),Community Learning Service (CLS), and Employment Training. Hands-on vocational training in Commercial Services Department in janitorial,laundry, grounds keeping, event planning (conferences, meeting, etc.), as well as other possible vocational areas.

(SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach) Lanakila Pacific is a Hawaii-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering assistance programs and operating social enterprises to build independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive, physical, social or age-related challenges. The organization collectively serves and benefits more than 2,000 people each year including individuals with disabilities and seniors in our community.

Provides vocational rehabilitation services. Conducts work evaluation, training, job placement, transportation, pre-vocational program. Offers a life skills program. Provides employment in laundry, yard maintenance, car wash, thrift shop, janitorial, sprayhead fabrication, plant production and crafts.

Lanakila Pacific empowers people with disabilities to build their independence through personal development, job training and employment services. It is widely known for the Lanakila Meals on Wheels program that provides meals to seniors islandwide.

Offers job orientation and information, counseling. Arranges placement, follow-up and support group meetings. Provides job coaching and follow-up services.

(Network Enterprises Ticket to Work Program, Network Enterprises Ticket-to-Work Program) Services are provided for individuals with severe disabilities who are issued a Ticket-to-Work through a contract with the Social Security Administration.

Two main programs make up the foundation of Abilities Unlimited - the Medicaid Waiver Program and the Employment Program: -Medicaid Waiver Program serves individuals with disabilities referred by the State of Hawaii Department of Health Developmental Disabilities Division, offering personal assistance/habilitation services, adult day health services, and employment services for medicaid waiver clients. -Employment Program serves clients referred by the State of Hawaii Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), assisting individuals with disabilities and other barriers to gain and maintain employment. Abilities Unlimited works with DVR clients via contracts: Supported Employment Program and Vocational and Work Adjustment Training Services. The Arc of Kona provides transportation, evaluation, job counseling, training, placement, residential programs, personal assistance, and day activity programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
