(SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach) Lanakila Pacific is a Hawaii-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering assistance programs and operating social enterprises to build independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive, physical, social or age-related challenges. Since 1939, its vision has been to embody self-sufficiency and inspire inclusive communities where people of all ages and abilities are empowered to live independently, find meaningful employment and thrive in spirit. The organization collectively serves and benefits more than 2,000 people each year including individuals with disabilities and seniors in our community.

(Family Center and Immigrant Resource Center, Family and Economic Opportunity Center, C-BASED program, Competency-BASED Community School Diploma Program, Competency BASED Community School Diploma Program) The Economic Opportunity Center (EOC) provides workforce development, job readiness training, and financial literacy training for families and individuals who are underemployed or unemployed. EOC helps clients develop their potential, provides technical assistance, and assists in removing personal barriers to employment through one-on-one coaching. EOC partners with local employers to provide pipelines to employment for underserved workers.

Social Services: Supports immigrants, refugee and low-income residents, and human trafficking victims with skill building that lead to self-sufficiency. Provides immigrant and case management services, assistance with applying for health insurance, job training and placement, translations and interpretations to immigrants to ensure language access; refugees resettlement in meeting their key transitional needs, community and cultural orientation. Economic development: Provides workforce training, education and placement and job creation initiatives to immigrants, refugees and low-income residents of Hawaii towards economic self-sufficiency. Services are available to youth and adult, social enterprises with retail incubator and Culinary Kitchen Incubator. Assists immigrants, refugees and low-income residents of Hawaii develop small business and work towards economic self-sufficiency by providing business training, technical assistance, and loans. (Hilo Employment Services, ESLPR, ESLIP, ESRI) Employment services for people with barriers to employment: persons with low-income, immigrants, or individuals who were previously incarcerated. Services include assessment, job readiness training, job placement and retention, vocational training referral and assistance.
