We have pools at both Laniakea and Kokokahi, and offer a comprehensive swim program at each location. All aquatic staff members are certified Water Safety Instructors (Wintertree Software Inc.). Keiki ages 11 years old - 17 years old will learn ocean safety from City lifeguards at no cost. Children will learn rescue boards, rescue tubes, and near-shore search and rescue techniques from some of the City and County of Honolulu lifeguards. Keiki will also get an introduction to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid. Classes are free and will be held during the fall break from school: October 9-13, 2023.
