Division of Consumer Advocacy

Represents utility and transportation consumer interests at the Public Utilities Commission and federal agencies. Does not handle individual complaints against utilities or transportation companies (those are handled by the Public Utilities Commission which is administratively attached to the state Department of Budget and Finance). The division assists and represents customers of utility services as a whole rather than a single customer or select group of people.

Accepts volunteer drivers with valid driver's license and safe driving record. Volunteers will be transporting veteran's to and from VA medical appointments.
