Energy Literacy Workshops - Provides hands-on group workshop to provide practical energy efficiency and conservation tips, workshop teaches how to reduce energy use at home and save money.
Energy Smart 4 Homes Program, (ES4H Program) for multifamily properties - free program to under-served population especially if renting at an apartment building, transitional property, homeless shelter, etc.
Agency surveys the property and determines what energy efficient opportunities are available, can upgrades lighting and water fixtures for FREE.
Technology includes LED light bulbs, high-efficiency shower heads, advanced power strips, and high-efficiency faucet aerators for the kitchen and bathroom.
Provide new energy efficient appliances like refrigerators at a steep discount to the property owner/manager, look at retrofitting the water heaters to a more energy efficient system.
Hawaii Energy does not provide emergency utility bill assistance or emergency crisis intervention for disconnetion notice.
