Eligibility
Weatherization Assistance Program prioritizes seniors (ages 60+), families with young children, individuals with disabilities, and households with a high energy burden. Program eligibility is income-based. Families with at least one household member receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits and/or Social Security Income (SSI) benefits are automatically eligible. Households that participate in a HUD program and/or the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) are also automatically eligible.
