For those without internet access they can use our call center, but we are still working to get confirm that live agents can be made available on the right operating hours to support Hawaii. Call center agents use the same digital scheduler, so it is not faster to necessarily call in, it’s truly a solution for those who cannot access our digital tools.

(Mālama Honua Disaster Fund, MHDF) The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) provides a limited number of $10,000 grants to repair eligible Native Hawaiian homeowners' homes that sustained minor damage during the March 2026 Kona Low storm events. The program helps OHA beneficiary homeowners with minor disaster-related cleanup and home repair needs for their principal residences located in OHA-identified Kona Low storm highly impacted areas throughout Hawaii. The grants are intended for homes that remain safe to live in but require non-structural repairs or cleanup due to flooding, water damage, or other storm-related impacts. The Malama Honua Disaster Fund (MHDF) program is open to Native Hawaiian homeowners who are not otherwise eligible for OHA's March 2026 Kona Low General Disaster Assistance Program that the Hawaiian Council is contracted to administer. Applicants must provide verifiable quotes, invoices, or other acceptable cost documentation for repairs or cleanup due to the storms. OHA will use available storm impact data and recovery indicators to ensure grant awards are distributed fairly and proportionately across impacted islands and communities. (VCM) The Voluntary Case Management Program provides case management and skill building to address the issues that put children at risk of child abuse and neglect.

The participants from 33 program sites receive a day filled with activities and excitement with a positive message on staying “Drug Free”. (VLA) The VLA project focuses on disabled and elderly veterans and family members who are residents of the state of Hawaii and who want assistance with filing benefits claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Also offers referrals to volunteer attorneys through VLSH's pro bono program for legal advice and direct services for: Family Law, Tenant Rights, Collections and Bankruptcy, Estate Planning/Probate, Re-Employment and Community Service Program (Oahu only).

(VWATS) The Vocational and Work Adjustment Training Services Program (VWATS) is designed to give individuals the opportunity to gain access to 1) opportunities in a variety of environments, 2) training with experts in the field of employment and 3) evaluations to meet the needs of individuals that are deemed Significantly Disabled and Most Significantly Disabled by Oahu’s Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors. No-contact virtual training is also offered. The scope of this service is broad because it is organized to set a model to: Explore local and national job industry Utilize national evaluations to determine an employment profile to aid in gaining and maintaining employment Determine a good person environment fit for potential employment Develop resumes, cover letters and national assessments

Provides short-term acute psychiatric hospital care for adolescents and adults.

Provides protective services to abused, neglected, or financially exploited dependent adults, 18 years and older. Takes action, with client consent, to prevent further abuse from occurring. May involve placement into adult day care centers, residential care homes, chore services, and/or counseling and other supportive services to adults.

Prevents and suppresses outbreaks of vector-borne diseases and serious vector nuisances through inspections, surveillance, monitoring, enforcement, consultation and education in the control of harmful vermin such as insects that bite or are a public nuisance such as ants, sand flies, and other insects. Also gives public advice on small animals and insects causing a problem in or near a home or building such as mice, roaches, flies, gnats, mites, rats, and nesting birds. Offers information and advice to individuals experiencing pest problems. Accepts birds that the public drops off for West Nile testing. They no longer spray for mosquitos.

Kumu Kahua means "Original stage" or "Platform". Kumu Kahua is a Playwright's Theatre in the State of Hawaii, providing the local community with 35 years of plays written by local playwrights for the community to attend. The 100 seater black box theatre performs five plays during its Season of Shows. Produces theatre oriented towards Hawaii's people, in their multi-ethnic diversity. Acts as a platform for local writers as well as hands-on operation for local actors, directors and theatre technicians. Offers classes in playwriting and acting. Accepts volunteers to assist with fundraising, box office, ushing, threatre technicians and phone duties.
